Looked After Children with SEND

We have Designated Teachers works closely with the SENCOs, to ensure all teachers in school understand the implications for those children who are looked after and have SEN.

Looked after children with SEND will receive both a Personal Education Plan (PEP) and a SEND Support Plan. Both of these plans are regularly reviewed and monitored closely. During a Looked After Child (LAC) meeting, the child’s progress towards targets will be discussed and reviewed alongside the social worker and carers.
